Summary; Jo only became interested in health when her own conditions of Endometriosis and fibriods, Chronic sinus problems, a range of digestive disorders and arthritis became so bad that she spent many days in hospital.

The situation became critical when she realised medications were making her conditions worse and apart from several operations to remove various parts of her anatomy conventional medicine had little to offer her.

Not being able to find a local therapist able to help, Jo started attending courses to learn more about health and healing. The big breakthrough came when she managed to get on the last ever training course to train in the Dr Christopher method of herbalism, Natural Healing and Iridology with renowned herbalist Jill Davies. Within 18 months she managed to correct all of her medical conditions, herself, as she followed the training course. This has continued to the present day.

Herbal Work

The Dr Christopher Method of herbalism is based on European and Native American Indian approaches to herbs. This style of herbalism is based around 'cleansing' the body through herbal cleanses. While the need to safely remove toxins has never been greater, more recently my work has become influenced by the gentle 'Wise women' approach to herbal medicine. I see a great need for our modern 'stressed-out' lives to be nourished naturally with simple herbs. I am also passionate in teaching others to grow and use herbs and plants in their everyday foods as 'kitchen medicine'.

Energy Healing

Having taken various Reiki, spiritual healing and and energy courses I finally met and trained with Pat Morrell. She spent over 20 years trialling her unique Morrell Reflex Touch method with hospitals, GP's and other trained health professionals. This treatment truly has a 'boot in both camps'! It combines the best of both energy work and differential diagnosis. Here I found a mentor to help me combine my intuitive gifts with my natural healing training.

Although Jo made a huge recovery in a relatively short period of time, she was honest enough to realise that she made many mistakes and found many of the changes she needed to make, challenging to say the least!

Setting up her own clinic Jo was very clear on how she wanted to help others, by giving them 100% support and encouragement and sharing many of her own hints and tips to make their journey easier.

My qualifications

1995 School of Yoga diploma in nutrition.

1998 Reiki 1

2001 Diploma of Natural Healing and Herbal Medicine with Jill Davies from the Self Heal School for Herbalists and Natural Healers (4 year part-time training) and the director of Herbs Hands Healing company. Member of the Association of Master Herbalists.

2001 Diploma in Iridology with Alan Payne of the Independent school of Iridology accredited by the guild of Naturopathic Iridologists (international)

2003 several advanced Iridology courses with Alan Payne

2006 Diploma in Morrell Reflex Touch with Pat Morrell and Sam Selby. A 15 month part time training course with intense 1 to 1 training every month.

Various and varied short weekend courses on different aspects of healing for pleasure and Continuing Practitioner Development (CPD) including various Reiki attunements, Quantum healing,and Herbal seminars.

Talks and Workshops for local Therapist groups, Morrell School students and interest groups on Iridology and Natural Healing.
