Spiritual Aspects of my work.......

Throughout my work I include words such as Intuitive, Sensitive, Inspiration, and Spiritual. What do I mean?

Since a child (see below) I have had the ability to receive vast amounts of information about people I come into contact with.

Through my Morrell Reflex Touch work this means that as I work on your feet I can actually 'Feel' what is going on in specific areas of your body, such as infections, irritations and also improvements!

Then if herbs are needed as I touch each individual bottle I will 'know' if they are correct for you in this formula. I have learned to trust this instinct.

It does not stop with physical conditions. I can also pick up very subtle information such as emotions, worries and energy levels.

It is important here that you understand that you can 'block' me and indeed most people do when they first meet me. This is quite understandable and a form of self-protection. I will always know that you are blocking me and can usually still sense what it is around, BUT, I always honour your rights. Usually I will say afterwards that I can 'feel' the block if I feel it is in the interests at this stage of your healing to mention it, often I will allow time and my work to allow it to 'release' naturally. Honesty and Integrity are huge parts of my work and from the many lovely feedbacks I receive I know that this does comes across and is appreciated.

Because I work in this way, I can also pick up very subtle fine energy signals. This includes blocked chakras, and where healing is needed in your energy field (aura). Although for some people this may sound a bit 'out there' those receiving my work will often mention that they can feel energy and sensations travelling through their body as I work.

My ability to sense, see and hear Spirit is truly a magical aspect of my work.

I do not work as a medium or clairvoyant or consider myself to be one.

But again this can be a big part of the healing journey. We are not just physical form, there is a very real spiritual aspect to our lives. I feel it is a great shame that so few people are aware of the loving thoughts and energy that surround them in times of illness, worry and grief. For my part I feel the love that is being sent to my patient and it enhances my own channelling of healing energy.

From time to time (and becoming more frequent) I will receive information to uplift and guide my clients journey from loved ones especially Guides. Again this is not to be feared, and in fact those receiving this information gain great comfort. However this does not happen with every client and I cannot 'make' it happen, always your healing journey is my main priority.

This has been a short summary of the spiritual aspects of my work, but in my clinic it is so much a part of me that it just happens in a very natural way weaving in and out of all I do.

Every time we share our personal journey, be it a one-off enlightened moment, years of struggling, wonderment or bewilderment, when we share that moment we help others. That is what I saw for the group, a safe resting place of peace, encouragement, sharing and just sometimes of learning. Jox

Jo's Spiritual Journey (summary)

From a young child I was aware of spirit or source in many different ways. I was aware of and even waved to my Grandfather at his own funeral - I remember feeling his joy in his new form as he came to say goodbye. Although, just like my other grandparents he has kept in touch with me since that day. In fact being a young child when he died, I have a closer connection with him now!

Animals and plants especially trees I always felt close to and aware of their energy.

But for me my biggest 'gift', and it was many years before I realised this was actually a gift was my ability to pick up information from other people. This included their physical conditions, their fears and feelings, and their unique energy (aura). As a child, teenager and young adult I was totally at the mercy of unwanted feelings, thoughts and conditions of others especially as I had no idea that this was what I was picking up.

Needless to say, I was a bit of a loner and wary of people, ill for much of my early life and very confused about life and people. Luckily for me I was able to heal myself through playing music.

In my early twenties I was introduced to the Christian Spiritual Church in Oxford, where I attended for several years and slowly began to make sense of what was happening to me.

I had many unusual experiences over the years, and much soul searching as I researched religion, healing and new age spiritualism to make sense of how I felt.

It was relatively recently with the birth of my daughter that I finally found out and understood my unique gifts. Like many people who are 'intuitives' and 'sensitives' I had learned how to block much of the information and energy that surrounds people everyday.

Already a trained herbalist I knew I wanted and could help other people. Now I found that as soon as I came into contact with their energy field or had physical contact I could feel what they felt, knew what was on their mind, and sense spirit energy around them.

Meeting Pat Morrell and training in Morrell Reflex Touch was huge for me. All of a sudden I had a new world to explore before me. Using the feet as a non-invasive point of contact now I could access all of the body, emotions and energetic bodies.

My work continues to expand and grow as finally I am working with my abilities rather than trying to shut them out!

By sharing parts of my story I have found that others now can make sense of gifts and abilities they have. Fear around these subjects and much confusion is blocking many of us from living fully. I hope in some small way I can inspire and encourage what is for many a truly spiritual path......
